Who are we?

CVSKL Foundation is a charitable non-profit organisation.

CVSKL Foundation was founded by prominent healthcare professionals and governed by a distinguished Board of Trustees who are industry leaders in various sectors. The foundation is dedicated to raising funds to support medical advancement and research in Malaysia while providing financial support and raising awareness on cardiovascular diseases.

CVSKL Foundation appreciates its donors for their generous support to help the foundation continues its mission for the benefit of the whole society. The foundation constantly looks for donors to help achieve the objectives and to sustain the operation.

Mission

To support medical advancement, research, and patients as well as to increase awareness on cardiac and vascular diseases through managing funds received and raised from donors.

Objective

  • To support medical advancement and research initiatives in treating patients with cardiac and vascular diseases.
  • To provide financial support for low-income group patients suffering from cardiac and vascular diseases.
  • To raise awareness and educate the general public on cardiac and vascular diseases.

DYMM Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir is the eleventh Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia since 2008.

His Royal Highness was a director and shareholder of various companies involving in financial services, international marketing, manufacturing, engineering and construction.

HRH was on the board of directors of Bangkok Bank from 2006. HRH’ dedication as the head of state of Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus has been recognised with the conferment of the Honorary Doctorate of Laws by the University of Glamorgan.

In recognition of His Royal Highness’ wide experience in public and corporate affairs as well as his dedication, in the development of Higher Education in the country, he was also conferred the Honorary Doctorate of Law by the University of South Wales; Honorary Fellowship by the Aberystwyth University; and Honorary Fellowship by The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Our Board of Trustees

Tan Sri Datuk Seri Rashpal Singh Randhay

Tan Sri Rashpal career spans almost 40 years across investment companies, stock brokerage firms, and stock and commodities exchanges. He is currently the Independent Non-Executive Director of Danajamin in Malaysia.

He served as the Board Member of the Inland Revenue Board, Malaysia (LHDNM) from 2015 to 2021. His areas of expertise include the analysis of complex financial reporting and fraud.

In addition to serving in regulated corporations, he has advised public accounting firms, Boards of Directors, and audit committees on matters about Corporate Governance and Compliance.

He is a member of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers and the Malaysian Association of United Nations Associations.

Dato’ Khodijah binti Abdullah

Dato’ Khodijah professional career ranges for almost four decades where she served at the Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic Service for 36 years.

She was also as a member of the Board of Directors of various statutory bodies and Malaysian Government Linked Companies. She is currently the Independent Non-Executive Director of Sun Life Malaysia Takaful Berhad.

Her versatile skills, knowledge, and experience span from financial analysis in evaluating and recommending applications for manufacturing licenses and tax incentive packages on a case-to-case basis as well as in formulating taxation policies and negotiating international trade and taxation agreements for Malaysia at bilateral and multilateral levels. She is dedicated in helping the nation move towards better social wellbeing.

Datuk Azzat bin Kamaludin

Datuk Azzat is a lawyer by profession and a partner of the law firm of Fahri, Azzat, and Co. Admitted as advocate and solicitor of High Court of Malaya in 1979 after having served as an administrative and diplomatic officer with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia from 1970 to 1979 in various capacities.

In his colossal years of being in the industry, he served as the Chairman of edotco Group, Chairman of Dialog, Board Member of Axiata, and held many other prestigious positions.

Mr. Voon Seng Chuan

Mr. Voon Seng Chuan is the Independent Non-Executive Chairman of AmBank (M) Bhd. He is also on the board of AMMB Holdings Bhd. and Mesiniaga Bhd.  He has been part of the Information Technology (“IT”) industry for about three decades.

He was the Managing Director at IBM Malaysia and IBM Brunei, as well as Director for Mid Market and Vice President for Business Partners at IBM Asia Pacific.

In his 27 years of service with IBM, he has delivered all aspects of IT products and services for clients in all industry segments in the Asia Pacific region.

In 2013, he was recognised with the “Outsourcing Leader of the Year” award and he was a Council Member of PIKOM (National ICT Association of Malaysia) from 1994/1995 and 1999/2000.

Pursuant to Subsection 44(6) of Income Tax Act 1967, donors will be issued an official receipt for the sum contributed.

The tax exemption receipt will not be given if the complete donor information (as below) is not submitted to CVSKL Foundation within Fourteen (14) days of the donation being received.
