Manager, Business Office

Job Summary

Your main responsibilities involve leading and managing Business Office operations, ensuring seamless integration, and overseeing the department to deliver high-quality customer services. Your role is crucial in meeting customer needs and achieving revenue management goals and objectives.


  • Lead the development and implementation of efficient management control systems in Business Office operations.
  • Manage the performance of the Business Office, collaborating with the supervisory team to resolve operational and billing issues, ensuring satisfactory queue situations, and implementing continuous improvement measures for patient waiting times.
  • Enforce internal controls for cash collection activities, strictly adhere to financial protocols, and take corrective actions while promptly reporting any non-compliance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration by liaising with patients, doctors, insurance agents, insurance companies, and TPAs on all insurance claim matters. Build and maintain a robust network with insurance companies, TPAs and corporates.
  • Provide timely updates to immediate superiors or management regarding work hazards, incidents, and issues related to staff and patients that may impact departmental operations and the company's interests.


  • Minimum qualification of a Diploma in any field.
  • Possess 3-5 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager in Business Office or similar, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Proficient in computer usage, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Demonstrates diligence, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
