State Registered Nurse, Outpatient
Job Summary
You will be responsible for delivering patient care, managing treatment, supervising subordinates, providing relevant information during outpatient consultations and ensure accurate documentation and charging.
Responsibilities
- Supervise outpatient department staff, including Junior Staff Nurse, Clinic Assistant, and Hospital Aide.
- Assist consultant during clinic hours, chaperone patients, and execute orders.
- Manage admission documentation and reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee clinical stock, perform inventory checks, and maintain efficient stock levels.
- Monitor appointment bookings, collect patient feedback, and ensure department readiness for daily operations.
Requirement
- Minimum Diploma in Nursing.
- Possess active Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) & registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
- Proficient in computer operations and able to write and communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Experienced in cardiology, cardiothoracic and cardiovascular nursing.
- Proficient in Basic Life Support and Infection Control Guidelines.
