Job Summary
- Report directly to the Radiology Manager and be responsible for the coordination of the Radiology and ancillary services during and after office hours.
- To assist the Radiology Manager in the provision of clinical, qualitative, financial, strategic and organisational leadership in developing the Radiology Department as a Centre of Excellence.
- To be responsible for ensuring that safe and effective patient service is delivered at all times in the Radiology Department in line with national, state and local rules and regulations as well as the agreed standards, Policies and Procedures set by CVSKL.
Responsibilities
- To produce high-quality radiographs or images which can be kept as a permanent record.
- Responsible for patient care before, during and after procedures and examinations.
- Ensure the best selection of exposure factors has been selected for various procedures and examinations done in the safest manner to ensure patients receive as low as reasonable radiation dose.
- Assisting Radiologists, Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons and other physicians in Radiology procedures.
- Recognise and understand the updated health and safety guidelines, including ionising radiation regulations been followed to ensure staff and patients are protected.
- Responsible for the radiation safety working environment, including ensuring that all machines and equipment are well maintained.
Requirement
- Diploma / Degree in Medical Imaging.
- Minimum 1 year to 3 years with Cathlab Experience.
- Able to work during office hours and to work on-call
