Job Summary
The sonographer will be responsible to provide patients with accurate, efficient and timely ultrasound services, as well as making them available to radiologists, vascular surgeons, or clinicians at all times.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations for all patients.
- Obtain, review and integrate pertinent patient history and supporting clinical data to facilitate optimum diagnostic results.
- Assist physicians in gathering sonographic data.
- Use and interpret ultrasound procedures.
- Capable of preparing preliminary reports and contacting referring medical doctors as necessary.
- Prepare the examination room and ultrasound equipment according to safety and sterilisation standards.
Requirement
- Diploma in Medical Sonography/Bachelor in Biomedical Sciences (Hons).
- Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasonography (Asia).
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience related to ultrasound procedures.
