高危复杂心血管手术（CHIP, Complex High-risk Indicated Procedure）是指为严重且复杂的冠状动脉疾病（CAD）患者而设计的专业复杂经皮冠状动脉介入手术（PCI）。这些患者通常存在心功能受损，并且手术可能伴随重大并发症风险。
Coronary artery disease (CAD) occurs when plaque builds up in the coronary arteries, leading to heart blockage and reduced blood flow to the heart. The heart blockage can be treated with an angioplasty procedure, a percutaneous procedure which uses special devices to open narrowed or blocked blood vessels.

什么形式的血管阻塞需要 CHIP 方案？
Complex Coronary Artery Disease: These include the total coronary artery occlusions, also known as chronic total occlusions (CTO), severely calcified heart blockage, bifurcation lesion, left main coronary artery disease, bypass graft interventions and multi-vessel heart disease procedures.
Poor Heart Function: A patient with poor heart function is at risk of cardiac arrest during the complex angioplasty procedure. These patients may require a mechanical circulatory support device to make the procedure safer and successful.

为什么CHIP方案非常重要？
对于严重或复杂的冠状动脉疾病患者，可供选择的治疗方案可能有限。尽管心脏开胸手术可能是最佳建议，但部分患者可能被评估为不适合接受此类手术。因此，许多患者只能依靠药物治疗，而这并非最佳方案。

- Save Lives: CHIP intervention offers treatment for heart blockage that would not otherwise be possible. In many, this improves patients’ survival.
- Quality of Life: CHIP intervention can significantly improve a patient’s quality of life by alleviating symptoms, for example, chest pain and shortness of breath. Many can experience a return to a normal/near-normal daily activity level in a shorter period of time.
