CVSKL has successfully performed its first implantation of the Aveir™ VR leadless pacemaker, expanding treatment options for patients who require cardiac pacing.
Unlike conventional pacemakers that require leads, leadless pacemakers are implanted directly into the heart through a minimally invasive procedure. For suitable patients, this approach may reduce the risk of lead-related complications, eliminate the need for a chest incision or visible device pocket, and support a faster recovery.
The Aveir™ VR leadless pacemaker is also designed with long-term flexibility in mind, offering extended battery longevity that may reduce the need for future replacement procedures while allowing treatment to adapt should a patient’s pacing needs change over time.
