6 selected patients who received treatment under the Skim Peduli Sihat (an initiative by the Selangor government) had a memorable moment as they were treated to high tea at CVSKL and received special gift packs and Chinese New Year angpaos from Chairman of CVSKL, Tan Sri Dato Dr Yahya Awang.

Dr Yahya said CVSKL have always dedicate themselves with CSR programmes to reduce the burden of public hospitals and allow for quicker intervention for the patient.

Skim Rawatan Jantung is specifically designed to cater to the low-income (B40) household citizens of Selangor, and eligible patients who meet the criteria are able to get treatment under this plan. Within 3 months of empanelment with SELCARE, 6 patients have been treated. 4 cases of CABG and 2 cases of angioplasty were performed under the proposed treatment initiative

The event was attended by 40 people including the patient’s family, consultants, nurses and staff.
