In conjunction with World Heart Day, a live cooking demonstration was held at CVSKL to highlight heart-healthy versions of your favourite dishes. Led by Chef Farhan and our expert dietitians, Ms. Lee Ping Nee and Ms. Tang Min Hui, the event showcased delicious recipes with fewer calories and a heart-friendly approach to cooking.
Whole grain noodles replaced regular noodles for a higher fibre option in the curry dish, while the avocado chocolate mousse was made with high protein soy milk providing a protein boost. These simple substitutions not only enhance nutritional value but also support heart health while keeping the flavour intact.
