We recently engaged with general practitioners and dialysis nurses in Batu Pahat to enhance the understanding and skills of vascular health management.

Dr Tan Kia Lean, consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon of CVSKL, discussed peripheral artery disease (PAD) and vascular access failure. 

The programme featured a hands-on workshop, where participants practised ultrasound-guided cannulation, and observed ABSI testing and rotational atherectomy demonstration. Our team also conducted a demonstration of AVF assessment on actual dialysis patients.
