KUALA LUMPUR: Nova MSC Bhd (NMB) and Cardiac Vascular Sentral Kuala Lumpur (CVSKL) have launched the CVSKLgo mobile app, a customised healthcare app to enhance patients’ journey in the post-Covid-19 era.

The CVSKLgo mobile app contains valuable features with an easy-to-use user interface (UI) that meets CVSKL’s requirements.

CVSKL chief executive officer Tan Eng Ghee said the launch of the CVSKLgo mobile app combines innovation, digitalisation and modern care for cardiac and vascular disease patients.

“We want to provide the best experience for the patients, and with our first mobile app, this will enhance their overall treatment experience with us,” he said in a statement today.

NMB is also the hospital information system (HIS) partner for CVSKL, an integrated cardiac and vascular hospital that opened its doors in November 2017.

The hospital is backed by a track record of achievements and expertise, specialising in comprehensive modern care for cardiac and vascular disease patients.

It is one of Malaysia’s first private cardiac and vascular hospitals.

Meanwhile, NMB’s strong expertise in the healthcare space’s digitalisation has helped drive innovation and digitalisation for CVSKL.

Some of the features implemented for the CVSKLgo mobile app include doctor information, schedule of appointments, billing history, and vital signs data readily available for patients.

Health dashboards, allergies, and alerts are readily available for CVSKL patients.

NMB group chief executive officer Lai Teik Kin said the company had seen rising demand for customised digital solutions or applications such as the CVSKLgo mobile app.

“One of the direct benefits of these customised healthcare apps is that they could help save the patients and hospital staff time acquiring simple information such as patients’ past visits.

“This could increase the efficiency of the hospital treatment through CVSKLgo mobile app experience,” Lai said.
