Timely and well-managed vascular access is crucial for dialysis patients, as it ensures efficient treatment and reduces complications. Our team was proud to contribute to the National Kidney Foundation NKF Malaysia (NKF) workshop, where nurses gained hands-on training in ultrasound-guided cannulation.

 

Led by Dr. Tan Kong Hean, Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon of CVSKL along with our dedicated sonographer, Ms. Wendy Wong, the session provided practical insights to further strengthen participant’s expertise in vascular access management for their patients.

 

Specialising in vascular disorders, Dr. Tan Kong Hean is skilled in advanced procedures, including open aortic aneurysm repair, angioplasty, arterial bypasses and AV fistula creation and repair.
