Setting up the CVSKL Foundation has been a long time vision of our doctors, particularly our Chairman and cardiothoracic surgeon, Tan Sri Dato’ Dr. Yahya Awang.

 

Last week, this vision was realised as CVSKL Foundation was launched by its’ Patron, Yang Di Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir along with our Board of Trustees. We have started the ball rolling by donating RM1 million with a mock cheque handover ceremony from CVSKL, represented by Datuk Dr Rosli Ali, consultant cardiologist at CVSKL and it’s received by Tan Sri Datuk Seri Rashpal Singh, Chairman of CVSKL Foundation.

 

The Foundation aims to support medical advancement and research initiatives, increase awareness on cardiac and vascular diseases and to provide financial support to patients in need through management of funds received and raised.
