Datuk Dr Razali Omar, Consultant Electrophysiologist & Cardiologist, has successfully performed our first WATCHMAN FLX™ Pro procedure, introducing an advanced approach to stroke prevention for patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (AF) who face an increased risk of stroke and bleeding.

 

The WATCHMAN FLX™ Pro device is a minimally invasive implant designed to close off the left atrial appendage, helping to prevent clot formation at its source and reduce the risk of stroke in suitable patients. Featuring advanced design enhancements to support improved healing and device integration , the WATCHMAN FLX™ Pro provides an additional treatment option for patients who may require an alternative to long-term blood-thinning medication due to bleeding risks.

 

The introduction of such procedure is never the work of one individual.
